holey wow If i could just get $7.00 for one of my pieces of art. amazing but she is so right the amount of time we invest into our works never gets appraicated in our sale price. I am so happy for her.

People do not realize the time put into our projects. They think ypu should sell them for the price of materials plus a bit more for labor.

This has been posted before, FYI and the woman who made this quilt discussed it here.

Anything item can be sold if you have a buyer that wants it. I don't get paying that much for a quilt but then I don't understand items selling at auctions for millions of dollars. The Chinese vase that sold for 59 MILLION a few weeks ago was so absurd it made me angry and I'm one that never cared what people spent their own money for.

Yes - I have a friend who argues:"You are only doing it in front of the TV anyway - it is not ART." Even if we only sold it with the price structure that you suggest, in Australia, that would be $600 - and I don't think that this sort of thinker would want to spend more than $50.
