Minky tip

FYI-On YouTube, I just watched a video by Robyn’s Love Of Sewing. It is under the title, Amazing Hack! Sewing Minky Made Easy. She show how to use Glad Press and Seal to make sewing a baby blanket easier and to prevent the Minky from putting fluff all over when cutting.

Thanks for posting this Tartan. I have been hesitant to use Minky because of all the mess. I am looking forward to watching it. It was super easy to find but I thought I would go ahead and post a direct link to the video because I know others will be interested..

So funny, I was watching the video when I came across your post. Multitasking. Looks impressive. Next time I will give it a try.

Thank you, Tartan. I just bought some minky for a baby blanket. I’ve tried it as backing once a few years ago, and I flubbed it. Finally got brave enough to try again.

Great tip...thanks for the link. I've only made one baby blanket using flannel top & minky back & I had minky fuzz all over the place by the time I was finished. This is great to know....thanks!
