I sew with a group in Oxford Michigan that makes quilts for wounded soldiers. About 250 quilts are going to be delivered this July. Most will go to Walter Reed and Bethesda Hospitals in Washington DC. Before they were taken away, we had a display for the public of the quilts. This is a quick look at the quilts, displays and people of this organization. They are called Miracle Quilts to honor Joe Miracle, a local soldier that died in Iraq. Jean |
What a beautiful group of quilters, and the quilts that they made to give away. Just not enough words to express gratitude for them.
