Missouri Star Todays Special Value

Today on sale for 25 cents 10 Clover Wonder Clips....plus the $ 5.00 shipping

That is a very good price. I simply couldn't do without my clover clips. I especially like them for sewing on my binding.

When notions go on sale at JAF, they cost $3.49. I picked up two packages.

I would like to show you my "wonder clips". As many of you know, I have a very talented husband. We live on a limited budget and have to watch our pennies. This is what he did to create my "wonder clips". He took pants hangers from Wal Mart (which they throw away or allow customers to keep them) and cut off the clips, sanded the rough edges and wahlah I have wonder clips. Just wanted to share and they didn't cost me a cent.

Wonderfully creative!

I've also used those as bag clips (chips, cereal, crackers).

Another great idea. You can also use clothes pins and pinch them right in place.

I saw the clips on the Missouri quilt and bought them. I haven't used them, but I bought some for my friends for her birthday.

I love my wonder clips, but if I had seen the hanger clip idea first, I think I would definitely have tried it. Great idea!

GlitzyMe 05-18-2014 09:16 AM

Oh!

Too funny! Just finished doing this to hanger clips to pack for my granddaughter's college box. Why didn't I think of binding clips? What a great thing it is to share with each other.

The hanger clips are a great idea and a money saver but missing the flat bottoms, 1/4" markings, and grip of the Wonder Clips.
