Missouri star tutorial today
Really like the Milestones tutorial she showed today.I told DH I would make a new quilt for our bed after the first of the year but those colors would not work for me. do you think it would look good scrappy? I need to use up some of my scraps so I can go buy new! I would also use lite gray for the snowballing as that"s the color of the carpet

I think that quilt would look fabulous as a scrappy quilt.
|
I think it would well as a scrappy quilt too. I might use a consistent fabric or at least a consistent color for the center square though, making it a little more controlled. I love grey as a background color. Be sure to show us when it's finished.

I too love this week's tutorial! A scrappy version would make a great quilt. I would use one fabric for the centers so the eye has a place to rest.

Could you please share the link? For some reason I don't get her tutorials anymore. Thanks!

It would be gorgeous scrappy. And in many different scrappy color schemes, from monochromatic to rainbow. Have fun!
Here's the link for the person who asked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...ature=emb_logo |
I have followed Jenny for some time and was getting a little bored with her patterns of late, but this one is a beautiful use of the Kansas Troubles line. Bookmarked for future quilt. Simple to cut, simple to piece, simple to adjust to the size you need. I am always looking for quilts that can be adjusted in size for babies, children, and throws. This one is perfect. It will be fun to see how we make versions of this pattern with scraps, pastels, single color ways and more and more.

Thanks for the link.

Hope this is ok to pass on since Jenny's pattern is what we are talking about....Jordan Fabrics has Milestones on their site today

Since I love scrappy quilts and looking at this, it would be so beautiful as a scrappy quilt.
