Someone provided a link to that method for doing Square in a Square. The concept is not original to Jenny but using it in a Tumbler quilt would be. Cute quilt.

Watched that the other day - just don't know if I like leaving in the background fabric under the tumbler. Would have to try it in small scale to check it out.

My newly married niece was at my house watching me make a few of these blocks. I used my Go tumbler die and had a pile of tumblers cut and several layer cakes of different solid colors. She has never shown an interest in quilting but was fascinated by this method. She took over and before she left had enough blocks sewn to make a good size quilt. She's hooked. She said it was fun and wasn't worried no one had to tell her she wasn't doing it right. I could see her confidence level rise after each block. .

Interesting but I thought there was too much white background. Interesting concept.

Jenny's tipsy tumbler

I made one Saturday and it took me about 6 1/2 hours start to finish. I quilted each block with SID and dashed them together. I used a fishing charm pack. I loved how fast it went together. :-D
