Just watched it.....orange peel the easy way.....contacted Sizzix to see if they have made a die for it, if not I am going to order the template....this is just an FYI ......I like doing appliqué the way she demoed it......

Saw it this morning and it is a good demo on using light weight fusible for applique.

Such a pretty quilt. I love the orange peel pattern.

This technique is similar to the way Eleanor Burns showed how to do Sunbonnet Sue years and years ago. I have also used this for leaves on a quilt. Sure is neat.

Going to watch this tonight...made the square in the square recently & got it quilted, back yesterday. Will bind and post here soon. Just love MQ tutorials !

Here ya go for the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tyAig7XupI

I have used this method for picture applique but never thought of tackling a whole quilt with it - but it looks very do-able.

I saw it this morning and am wanting to do this one as well, she keeps coming up with all these ideas for quilts..I can't keep up!!

It was very cool - have been thinking about ordering the template too. But I do have several other templates that I have yet to use, so maybe I should finish 2 UFO's before I order, otherwise I am afraid it will come, go in a drawer and never used. But I did like it a lot.
