Shipping sure is expensive. A few years back, I ordered a pattern from Nancy's Notions. I was new to online shopping and didn't really pay attention to the shipping costs. By the time I received the pattern, the shipping cost more than the pattern. Did I feel sfupid. Of course I didn't tell my DH my mistake right away. And of course it was a lesson learned!

If you order from them and then get their mailed catalog (usually comes every 6 weeks or so), you MAY find a "Free Shipping" offer on it. Next time you order, mention/insert the requested code and you will get free shipping. Not sure if this works for non-USA.
