very cute, I picked up some 1" flat rocks from my gravel alley, washed them and keep them in a decorative bowl for this purpose.

I also have heard of going to the hardware store and buying these heavy metal washers that seem huge but they do the trick too. I just thought that the box was cute for a lot of things and her pics gave a clear idea of construction. I like the idea of rocks a lot.

I think the little weights are awesome... Was thinking of making some for granddaughter. She loves little things likes this. PLUS I need one. Think of all the great colors to make lol... Thanks so much for sharing.

These are great little weights. Years ago when I was dressmaking I scavenged some rather heavy little metal offcuts my son, an engineer had, and covered them and put little ribbon handles on them to lift without dragging. They made great fabric weights, still use them for quilting. My daughter also made me weights from beach stones which she decopaged (sp) with pretty florals.
