I am looking for a new/newer block to make right now and am at a stand still. This is getting my creative juices moving.

That is a fun block, thanks for posting. I like that it starts with such large squares.

Wouldn't those be charming if you had a FQ Bundle or a couple of matching Charm Packs of fabric from the same designer. Turn scrappy on it's ear but could maintain the "coordinated" look just a little.
