New (to me) idea

Quick No Mark Stitch & Flip Tip
http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quil...rk-stitch-flip
This will work for Half Square Triangles, Quarter Square Triangles, Corner Triangles & Flying Geese!

Shucks, looks like you will need to copy & paste.

I'm going to try this. I hate marking those diagonal lines. Thanks for sharing!

I probably would "wiggle" and sew the cardboard! Or it would slip and mess up.....drawing lines with pencil is easier for me....

I use the angler sometimes, works for me. I also have a permanent line drawn on my sewing machine straight down from the needle center position.

Use a strip cut from sandpaper and it will grip your fabric - no slipping.

This is what I would use. Of course I just finished a bizillion HST's ( well a lot) LOL.

I've used this trick but I cut my strip out of emery cloth and also out of small grit sandpaper! neat trick!

I use a piece of painter tape and just follow.

I just fold and Iron square and then it is easy to sew. I usually sew 1/4" either side of fold and have two half squares, and ironing is fast.

I pull a length of thread from the needle, put the needle in the fabric, (this holds the thread from pulling out) pull the thread across diagonally and follow the thread to sew.
