Than You. I use to visit that site often then forgot about it. A lot of good info. and free patterns there. Good to see it again.

Do you have to do some kind of a download from this site? Is it safe?

Yes, you have to download the files for whichever item you want the pattern to, and it is a safe site, at least so far for me. You might have to join the site, but it's free to join.
