New pattern?
 

I just looked at an email I recd from QIAD....a new pattern by EB....called LeMoyne star, but it looks like Hunters Star to me. Am I wrong?

Well, the center of the hunter's star (when all 4 blocks are joined) does form a small Lemoyne star, but the blocks are different:

Yes they look the same but construction is different

They may be similar but not exactly the same....LeMoyne is a larger star, and usually has one color bkgrd..even though accuquilt shows it two colored,whereas Hunters is smaller and corner section of block form the next star. If you look at the pic of EB pattern it appears to be closer to HS...... Just how I see it......no big deal.....

it seems that the corner's in a hunter's star does form a lemoyne star... thus you always see the contrasting triangles in the hunter's star. but the lemoyne star seems to be the same star but can be placed on its own https://www.google.com/search?q=lemo...w=1015&bih=685

Thanks for the confirmation. That is what I was seeing and in my tiny mind that was the definitive difference....but this seems to blur it..probably EB's construction of the design may be totally different that either LS or HS...knowing EB.....
