I love that magazine. I've been getting it for about 3 years now. Though I make the projects out of fabric instead of wool. Nice eye candy!

I've seen the magazine on the rack at the grocery store, but not lately. Compared to other quilt magazines, it is a bit expensive.
|
They had a booth at "Road to California" it was WOW!
|
Never heard of it before. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for posting this. Someone mentioned this magazine the other day and I checked their website. Was thinking about it and now I'm glad I waited. That's a great price and helps a great cause too!

It is a nice book. Lots of fun projects if you love primitives for sure. I subscribe and also see them at quilt shows where they have a terrific display. For me the book is worth the price as the patterns are clear and easy to follow.

For $10.00 I would subscribe too to give it a try but where do I find that link to do that along with American Patchwork mag?
|
The booth at the show was Primitive Gatherings, not the same person as magazine.
|
It is actually NOT a "new" magazine ... it's been out for at least 5 years or so. I've subscribed for several years and really enjoy it. I gave my SIL a subscription and it has become her favorite mag also. I think they do still have a booth at the Houston IQF each year, so keep an eye out for them !
It is a little more $ than some other quilt mags, but IMHO so well worth it. Lots of warm and cozy quilt patterns by well known designers, great wool projects, stitchery and decor that you won't find in any of the other cookie-cutter magazines ... |

Each is for a 1 year sub. Tried to find a review of the site with no luck but one could spend a small fortune there!! I get AP&Q now so will just get the PQ&P one. |

Not sure, but I think each mag subscription is separate?

Prims are a lot of fun! Nobody will notice if you made 1, 2 or 10 mistakes.
I was in a "Ornie" exchange one Christmas. I sent out 21 and got 21 back. I had a "Prim Tree" that year that was really cute. If you want to try a easy craft that is very forgiving, this is it! Louise |
