Here is a page where I placed all of my Quilt Blocks and each one with it's layout from the Sampler Quilt Along.

You can see all of them here in the same size that they were posted in each individual week's thread.

Phyl 04-09-2011 06:06 AM

I have purchased two of your e books and I can't tell you how much they have changed the way I SEE quilting! You make it all possible to take what seemed so complicated and break it down to wonderfully possible. Thank you not only for your talent, but for helping so many of us to be able to enjoy quilting. You are the best!

Rhonda 04-09-2011 06:16 AM

Thank you everyone!

Phyl I am always so glad when I hear someone gets what I am trying to teach. I was so excited when I discovered these shortcuts and I wanted to show someone how they work. So I am really happy you "See" the possibilities in these shortcut blocks!

dreamgirl 04-09-2011 06:43 AM

Beautiful Rhonda, I add this link with ALL of your others I've been saving since the day I sign on... Can't wait to get a printer and go to work. Thank you sharing all that you have done it means a lot to people like me. I've never been able to make seams match before.. ((hugs)) and many thanks with appreciations :)

juneayerza 04-09-2011 01:01 PM

Rhonda, you are always, always so generous with your talents. Thank you for sharing these with us. I am not a traditional quilter per se, however, I can take these and figure out how to make a pattern for paper piecing them so I can enjoy making them too.

Rhonda 04-09-2011 02:44 PM

You're welcome everyone. I am glad you all enjoy them!

audsgirl 04-09-2011 03:03 PM

Thanks a lot for doing this.

Rhonda 04-09-2011 03:05 PM

someone asked me if I had them together in one place. I did a thread with all of them but the pics are small and I didn't include the layouts. so I did this for anyone who wants to use them. I am hosting a quilt block swap so this is a good place to see them all to choose a quilt block.

Thanks for thinking of us poor souls that need a little extra help. You and your talents are appreciated.

Your post reminds me I have been negligent is thanking you for the templates you graciously sent me!

My 32 year old son was admitted to cardiac care right after you sent these to me and I forgot I even had them. He is home and fine now although he will be on meds the rest of his life for an irregular heart beat. Heart beat was 178 while blood pressure was 62/40. Pretty scarey couply of days!

Again, thank you and my apologies for not responding in a timely fashion.

Blessings to you and your DH,
Peggy

Thanks Rhonda. This will be referred to a lot!

Shelbie 04-17-2011 08:18 AM

These blocks present so many possibilities. I think you could literally make dozens of quilts using these patterns and not repeat any. I also seen the possibility of doing them in different sizes even making a super sized one block and you're finished type of quilt. Thanks so much Rhonda.

Shelbie I am so happy to hear you understand that. I wanted this Sampler to be a jumping off place so people would be encouraged to try my methods. I want them to realize the quilt blocks only look complicated but they really aren't. I hope people will take these and use them any way they want to to create their own quilts and go from there. It is a differant way to look at piecing. and the possibilities are endless.

They are beautiful! I may bookmark the page but I'm not sure I'll ever be good enough to do your wonderful blocks. Thanks for sharing and being inspirational.

dyer the steps are easy. The quilt blocks look intricate but they aren't hard to make. Check out my block directions (star point blocks or Boston Blocks etc)and just play around with them to see what you think!

hspirit_99 04-17-2011 10:51 PM

incredible, just incredible

I know that you would be able to do it. I thought that also but just finished making one of her blocks (used half square triangles and boston blocks) and am getting ready to do another. Just look at her tutorials on how to do the blocks and start out slowly (perhaps with half square triangles). If *I* can do it, I know that you can too.

dyer804 04-18-2011 11:30 AM

Thank you both for the encouragement. I may have to play with some scraps and see what I can do. The blocks are really lovely.

Here it is! I finished Shelley's Block. She asked for Stella (week 7). I had to unstitch it a couple of times. It will go out to her tomorrow. It needs a little squaring up but otherwise I did it.

I sent Shelley a picture of it and she said I could post this.

Yes it is. I've had it for a bit so thought this was a good time to use it up.

I'm just getting into the batiks. I doubt they will ever be a big thing for me but I do like some of them. so many of them are just too big a print for me.

That is true but this one more mottled. I love them for their flexibility in working with a lot of fabric. I didn't think I would like working with them but when you are cutting them into smaller units you don't seem some of those big prints anymore.

I bought a variety of batiks I thought I could use to make Boston Blocks with. One set of fabrics are animal prints. I am curious to see how that works out. I haven't sat down and played with them yet. They may just end up in a Doll Quilt for the swap down the road! Somebody made a DQ using animal prints and it was really cute. Gave me ideas!

Oh the possibilities!!!
