ok hopefully I am allowed to do this...just received a e-mail about a new web site for selling.

Wow, fifty dollars a month to keep item in shop. I wonder how many people will do this?

I think the $50 fee seems rather high unless an individual is going to start an on-line business.

I'll keep it in mind to look at, but will sell my stuff on my own web site or other markets. Just my opinion. |

Of course, if you only list 1 thing a year, it's not for you. ;-) But if you sell more than $500/month, you'd be paying less in fees than on eBay, especially with the current changes. Of course, the other side of that is that you also don't have the number of eyeballs looking at your stuff either. And some of the bigger fabric sellers on eBay with scores of listings could continue to sell on eBay, and then try to introduce their customer base to this new site. Of course, the details on what exactly you're allowed to do in your shop (listing limits, other fees?), ease of use of the site, protection policies and/or procedures, all work into the equation. We'll see next week...... |
I don't sell anything on the internet, was just throwing this out there for whoever might be interested.

Or you can pay $5 per item if you just have a few items.
