Nice surprise at Dollar Store update
I wanted to know if the containers were easy to refill so I emptied one to try. It filled up great! I rolled the end up like a toothpaste tube and stuck the open end into school glue I poured from a big bottle to a small deep container. It suctioned it right into the tube and filled it up. I think until I can find this glue tube more available to buy, I'll just squeeze the tube and not roll it so maybe not crack the tube over time. It sure is handy.

i got mine a couple of days ago... haven't tried it yet. but i had to pay the full dollar :)

Found these in Phoenix yesterday. Thanks.

Found none in three different $ stores.
|
I did not see the original post on this, what a great find. What is the name of the $ store that you found them, I have several in my area. If not there is always Target even if I have to pay full price it will be worth it as I keep a small bottle of school glue at my quilting table, it has so many uses.

The dollar tree near me did not carry this, but went to Walmart and found ONE among the mountains of school supplies....but it is only one pen two sided...one side thin line, other side thick line..$1.88, and used it last nite on a hexie that I had basted and the paper slipped out so I glued that seam allowance down..worked fine!

Went out and purchased 4 packs...thanks for info!!!!!

That is not the same pen but the same glue. |
I appreciate this information as well as the pic. I did find the seat the $$$ store........thanks

Not much luck in finding the product....checked two dollar stores, Staples and Target so far. I will keep checking for it.

I bought them by mistake I think at Target a couple of weeks ago. I thought they were glue sticks. They certainly put out a tiny bead of glue.

I'll be shopping for these at my Dollar Store! Thanks
|
I just came from the $tree and they had them, they are not in with school supplies but at the check out area. I happen to see one laying there and asked if there was any more and she told me where they were hanging. Now I can make more hexies.

I found them in PA but when I remarked someone had bought them for 50 cents the sales person looked at me and said "this is a DOLLAR store" with a bit of a smirk. She had the checkout line snickering...
