at less than $1 each, it would be worth a switch from brand name to generic.
the generics i've used have lasted at least as long as the Olfa brand.
even if they didn't, a person who could afford to buy in bulk would still save a lot of money in the long run.

I use the Harbor Freight carpet blades. They last a long time and I sharpen them all the time too. Love them.

The $95 dollar ones I found on ebay are generic. I'm wondering if they are like the generic Harbor Freight. Some packs are wonderful, some are horrible.

ETA: She also offers a pack of 10 for $13, which I just ordered to try.

These say they are generic...not the Olfa brand.

It does not say it is Olfa blades. It says they will fit an Olfa cutter. Be careful. These may be good. I don't know.

You can buy 100 Olfa 45 mm blades on eBay right now for $95 with free shipping. That's less than $1 each - I'm still working on my first batch of 100 blades. At this price, I change them frequently.

Debbie

I also buy my blades on Ebay. I just received 5 Olfa blades for 8.00 free shipping. That's less than 2.00 each. Shop around on Ebay and you will find some good buys for blades.

Does the seller have 60mm?

That's a great deal! I usually buy the Fiskars titanium when I either have a coupon or they're on sale. I probably don't change mine often enough.

I've been wanting to try the Titanium blades. Do you really think they last longer? I've heard they're much better than regular blades and worth the price.
