I found this on youtube and thought I would share. I don't know if I'm the last to know about this but it looks really fun!

Looks like a plan!! really neat.

HOLY COW! HOW EASY! It would be best for a wallhanging instead of a quilt, though, so your little toesies don't get caught in the pockets.

Thanks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! How simple is that! No more scary I am thinking an Advent Calendar for my grandsons!
|
That is wonderful! You are probably the next to the last person to know and I am the last! LOL
I thought of something while watching this. If you take two of those pieces that were made, after ironing you could put two of them together with one upside down to make a square. Then you could fold over those areas that are not attached over a "pane" and have a cathedral window design. Would that work? |
I don't see why it wouldn't work and it would make cathedral windows very simple. I think I will try that this afternoon to see if it will work! Great idea!
|
Let me know how it works out please.

This is great! Thanks for posting.

I've tried 7 (one wasn't right) and that is really neat. I just used contrasting scraps buy there would be lots of possibilities. Thanks for the site!

To make the square this way you need to watch this video:

I tried making these with an exact l/4" seam and it didn't turn out right. So maybe a scant l/4' would be best.
Maybe I will try that. |
Thanks for posting this. It's just brilliant!
