Ontario Quilters!

Saturday is 50% off at Fabricland for members!

Someone just reminded me so I thought I'd pass it on.

Oh Wow, and I just joined last month for the first time ever! Thanks for letting me know.....

Well I might have to go look for some backing fabric. My Fabricland is getting pretty pricey and I only buy on a good sale. My LQS regular prices are usually less then Fabriclands regular prices.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I know where I'm going this weekend.

I agree with you completely Tartan. I only buy from Fabricland when they have their 1/2 price sale & on their pop up sales, which they have every once in a while & they are always unadvertised. Some of their prices are getting ridiculous. I have checked out some of their prices & it seems they double the price & then sell at 1/2 that so it's marked down to the regular price that it should be in the first place.

Totally agree CAllan ... too much doubling up on the pricing, and even at 1/2 off, it often still is not comparable to an LQS, especially when you factor in the quality difference (generally poorer quality at FL). Even better if you can catch a sale at the LQS!

As a result, I seldom go there any more. And that will be even less now, as they are closing the local one in April.

In comparison ..... have you noticed how many LQS' have % off sales, regularly??
Without a doubt, they are still making $, during those "$ale$".
So it leaves one wondering why buy at regular price?
(unless you absolutely need it NOW!)
