Panasonic Cordless Iron on Clearance at Walmart

I grabbed one last night for $38 +change. It is model # NI-L70SR and was displayed on a clearance end cap around the corner from the irons and vacuum cleaners. I haven't gotten to try it yet, but the reviews are great. If this is something that you've been waiting for, check your local Walmart. This is a sweet deal!

Yes! I have been looking for a cordless one for use in my new sewing space.
Thanks so much for sharing!

Ok, now I've tried this iron and I LOVE it! I'm really excited that I stumbled upon it at such a great price. Hope you all have the same luck!

I checked it out at my Walmart and it is still regular price. I am very happy for you! I already have a cordless iron and L-O-V-E it! I hope others can score on this one.

I'll check the two local Walmarts tomorrow. Thanks for posting.

I love my Panasonic cordless. The ONLY criticism I have is that it doesn't get as hot as my regular corded iron, but I detest fighting with that cord!! Using steam offsets the 'not as hot' issue. I like this iron so much that I bought a second one at the Lancaster Quilt Show this year when they had their classroom irons marked down. If you can find it at a sale price, go for it!!

Walmart in my area doesn't have this iron at all, not even in regular stock. Oh, well when one door closes....I stopped at a yard sale on the way back from Walmart and found gold. A lady had five boxes of pre wound bobbins from Fil Tec, 144 per box of all colors for $2 a box!!!!. I bought all five boxes. She is giving up her alteration business. I saved enought to order the cordless iron at regular price. If you haven't posted the clearance, I would have missed the yard sale. Life is an amazing string of events.

Saw one at the LQS: pricey. So, I checked out Amazon. Much better price but still haven't purchased.

What a bummer that no one else has found this deal at their local Walmart. But I am glad to hear of your yardsale find, Onebyone. That's a killer deal!

I checked my local WalMart today and not there either.

None of the Walmart's near me even have the iron.

Sometimes if you talk to customer service and say that particular iron was on sale at another Wal-mart they may honor that price. Of course, that is only if they carried it in the first place. Good luck.

Has anyone tried Walmart.com? They have free shipping on orders over $50. I order everything I can instead of driving 40 miles round trip. We only have a Dollar General in our small town and so I have no choice but to go outside of town for all of my sewing related items.

I checked WalMart on line and they have the iron for $60. Don't know about shipping?!
