Panasonic cordless iron sale

Quilt in a day website has the panasonic cordless iron on sale today for $99. Great buy, and I love this iron, it is wonderful not to have to deal with a cord and I like that it is pointed on both ends, comes with a handy carrying case too, useful to take to class.

does anyone have one? Reviews on Amazon say mostly it does not heat up as much as buyer would like.

It's only $100 on the Panasonic site. I've been pondering for quite some time but it has mixed reviews. I love my faithful Kenmore but hate the long cord dragging everything off my table.

I have that iron; bought mine from HSN. It works great, but as someone said above (and I mentioned in another post about irons), it definitely does not get as hot as my Oliso iron. But it gets hot enough to press seams, that's for sure!

Like Donna, I bought mine from HSN. I really like using it, but wish it got hotter when ironing quilt tops and backs for preparation for my long arm.
