Here is the link to the pattern I used for my Spiked with Color quilt I posted the other day. A couple of you asked about the pattern and design.
This was a FREE pattern off the site and I used various batiks and other fabrics I already had. So, I guess you could say it my scrapy quilt. http://www.lenzula.de/pattern/free/nyb.php Check out some of her other designs, they are also free. |
Thanks for posting the site...I went & printed the pattern for the first block. Did you do paper piecing on this or not....
|
Yes, Bayou Quilter I did paper piece this quilt. My first try at it and I am so hooked. The quilt is made up of all 10 blocks on her site.
Thanks for asking. |
I forgot to say how much I liked it. It's beautiful.. I am up for trying it, haven't done any paper piecing much. Can't seem to get it. But I will try again because I really loved yours. Thanks again

Any advice on easing the curved pieces, I find this part kinda tricky, also how did you cut the curved pieces? With a rotary cutter or scissors? Thanks :)

I was looking for this link but it seems that it does no longer is on the net. I succeeded to see the page using the WayBack Machine Archive: http://archive.org/web/web.php
by inserting the link address in the box. The last dates available are in 2010 and the patterns are available in PDF files. |
I just saw them under free patterns at www.lenzula.de
