I was watching some of these over the weekend on my create channel my favorite episode VIII threads truly gifted artists............. http://video.pbs.org/program/craft-in-america/
We lost our local pbs station. I used to watch Sewing with Nancy every week and several other sewing and/or crafting/painting shows. Guess they didn't have enough $$ to stay on.
oh shoot, right now I have two PBS stations and also Create. I would hate not having them. Sometimes that is all I watch due to the mess on other channels.
I can get PBS channel on Roku. It's the main channel not the local one so all the programming is there. There are a lot of shows I've never seen on our local PBS channel.
It looks like you can play a video from the link given on your computer?
Our local PBS does not include this show..They do have Sewing with Nancy and Fons and Porter quilting show.
Love PBS and its affiliates.. I have Wisconsin PBS on my IPad so I can watch the Sewing With Nancy Shows at my leisure
This is different subject but I cannot find "Masterpiece: The Paradise" on PBS anymore, did it go off?
I haven't seen this show but will check it out.

Thank you for this link. It is one of the most delightful shows I have seen. This sort of exposure is what is needed - to have this sort of expression and beauty remain hidden is a shame because of lack of funding. It is a much better image of America than a lot of the funded stuff. Of course, we don't even get craft and art shows generated here so need to be inspired by artists such as these on your programs. Wonderful!
