Picture Piecing with Freezer Paper

Cynthia England is a talented quilter who presented her technique at our guild's quilt show last year, and I finally got around to studying her website only a few months ago. Now I've noticed that she has very detailed demonstrations of the technique on youtube videos! http://englanddesign.com/content/video-demos-0 I know her work has been mentioned on this board before, but I had not noticed mention of the videos, which are quite helpful.

Check out the rest of her site as well as the videos. There's a lot to see, and her designs are beautiful works of art! http://englanddesign.com

Thanks for the links. I have 3 of her patterns and I've been reading them and trying to grasp her method vs. regular paperpiecing. I was really intimidated by those patterns but think I'm ready to tackle one after watching the videos.

Thanks so much for that link! A whole new quilting world to explore! I enjoy paper piecing very much, but don't like having to remove the paper after sewing. This looks like a problem wonderfully solved!

Thanks for posting this. I've seen her work on The Quilt Show, but didn't totally understand her method. I like this method for producing detailed landscapes or other pictures.

Her quilts are so pretty. At first I was wondering of the advantage of doing it this way, it seems like more work, but I totally forgot about time-consuming paper removal. I'm going to try this. Thanks for sharing!
