Play with Me Quilt Along starting January 2016

I just discovered this quilt along for 2016.

[link removed. site requires sign-up and other requirements that make it not available to all.]

It is a skill builder using board games as each month's block. Those blocks can be used as part of a larger quilt, or as placemats, or as actual games. All the instructions will be given, including how to play the games!

I will be participating and I am hoping QuiltE will join me. It would be great to see more people from the Quilting Board join in the fun.

This looks like fun. Looks like I could use up lots of scraps.

This sounds like something that will be very helpful in building quilting skills. I signed up.
Thank You for the link.

Great to see some interest. It will be fun to show our blocks/placemats/games.

Alas! here I am .... yes, I have signed up for it.

What I like about it is that it is DIFFERENT!!! :)
.....who has ever done game quilts??
Certainly not me!

I think this will be a fun way learn new quilting skills and strengthen ones that we are familiar with.

And to boot ... some new games to play! :)

Thanks to Alida for developing this ... and to Works4Me for finding and sharing it! :)

I signed up too. It looks interesting and something for the "Great Grandkids" to have. Thanks

Game 1 is checkers done in bargello. Here is mine. I am using all Stonehenge, with the pale tan in the centre section as my constant, I hope.
