It looks like the same seam used for denim jeans. You just have to make sure you are using larger blocks (1/2" seams). It would take more thought when sewing if using a more intricate pattern, matching seams or points, etc.

That was my thought too. We knew them as flat fell seams. Very nice.

I have been giving it a try and here is what Is working for me: I us half inch seam alliwance on both pieces being joined and trim one side down.

Not sure why this was brought to this thread as it is about one single silk wrapping sheet and how to wrap pesents with it and not the bojagi piecing method. Sorry for the confusion and this being in this thread. Thought I posted it it General Chit Chat as not about quilting but wrapping gifts with silk squares. Guese the word pojagi refers to several things.

I think this is called a False Flat Felled Seam. A true Flat Felled Seam is stitched with the wrong sides together and the fold over is done on the front side.
