I have been trying to convince myself to buy yet another ruler I am curious how you made your own template and what measurements you used. I also think that is a cute tablerunner.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27r6e...feature=relmfu Does anyone know where I can buy the large Half-Hexagon template...I am not good at making my own--unless, of course, they are expensive. Then I will get good at making my own template. |

I made this from the UTube yesterday, I still need to hand sew the binding , but it was quick and easy. I am going to donate it to my neice for the annual Christmas Bazzar at the hospital to add the their departments basket of goodies...I may also make a few up for family gifts. I took it to my friends LA shop and did Classy Curls on it ...
|
Glad to hear they are quick and easy to make. I ordered a ruler yesterday because I want to make some for our Christmas bazzar.
BMP Thanks for giving us the ruler. I can get started early. |

What did you use for a star pattern?
|
You can buy them at Jenny Doan's Missouri Star Quilting Store. Here's a link:

That is a great tutorial. And thanks for the template measurements. Great information. Love this board.
|
Go online and do a search for a 6-pt. star graphic. You can adjust it to the size you need.

to do. |
Oh no! I can't open it. Help!

Well, I just ordered the template (I tend to misplace paper patterns). Hope that there are more things that I can make with this template. Anyone have any more ideas??
