http://www.amazon.com/Quick-Easy-Hex.../dp/1604600551
Dr Peggy G Rhodes -and Julia C Woods. Have just published this book. Being fellow Guild members I bought ths book and I am so glad I did. It contains an easy method of making hexies- i love it !! I highly recommend it! They didn't ask me to post this - I posted it because it is has agreat technique, has great technical info such as how many hexies do I need and what size and because suddenly hexies are fun!! Just wanted you to know I liked it! I also thought someone may be interested!! |
Would love to know the technique, but really do not need another book! I see that they start with a circle.

Thanks for the info....

This isn't new. I remember being shown how to do this using circles of fabric when I was in grade school. I'm glad the technique has been brought back to life. So many of the hand sewing methods have been lost. My best friend in HS grandmother taught us how to piece hexagons with no paper and stitch them together as we go. No whip stitch needed and no basting the hexes.
