Found this tutorial on youtube.com and tried it today. It works great. I wasn't sure it would.

I have an inkjet HP printer that is at least 7 years old. It didn't jam up or anything.

This is the way I always do my labels but not all ink will set permanently unless the fabric has been treated.

I ALWAYS go over my printing with a permanent pen, several times, to make sure that the printing doesn't wash out.

And how do I know to do that, you ask? lol Yep, because I made a label, put it on the quilt, washed the quilt, and took it out of the washer with a blank label.

OK...OK...but what if you do NOT have an ink jet printer... is there a way to do labels??

Has anyone ever tried a laser printer? I have just ordered one with the hope that it will work.

Hi Gram,
Hmmm... I have an old laser printer and am sorta reluctant to try this on it. I bought it from my Dad in the late 90s and want to keep it going. Maybe I will get brave and do it.

Be sure to do a test to make sure it is permanently printed, by testing the printing with water.
