Does anyone use this free software? I signed up for the forum, but not much participation. So, I figure I'd ask here if anyone uses it.

QuiltAssistant is free design-software that can help you to turn your photos into quilts. Rather than the traditional approach of breaking up the photo into little squares ('watercolor style') it allows you to divide the photo into pieces of arbitrary size and shape.
On completing your design, you can print templates including seam allowances.

for a minute there I thought you were giving away a cat- so many have quilt assistants that purr.

Sondray...I downloaded this, and had a play with it...forgot all about it..too many other distractions I suppose :D

Thanks for the link, this is just what my friend needs. She is an artist and wants to turn her art into quilts. I am excited to send her this so she can play with it and I can help her learn how to piece.
