That is a cute idea. Wouldn't be too hard to make up your own pattern.

That is in an old series of thin, hardback books from like McCall's or Better Homes, etc. I see the books at thrift stores, and library second hand stores a lot. I might have it, or I have just seen it a lot. I will try to find it some time this week if you want. PM me with email to remind me. My days are full and mind is cluttered! lol

I would love to make this for my granddaughter! I will be looking for the pattern and post it if found.

It is just basically a puff/ Biscuit quilt made with larger squares and has a face, arms and legs added. You could even buy a small pair of pants and a small shirt to make the arms and legs, just sew a hand or foot to the bottom, add a little stuffing, make a face, and Bob's your uncle!

Am I the only one that thinks that's creepy? LOL

This was posted on first page for those that are interested in the pattern. I am not interested in making; just ran across and thought some here would be as it is sooooooo cute.

I showed it to my 14 year old daughter (who loves quilts and rag dolls.....but not together) who immediately said it was CREEPY! She said she wouldn't be able to sleep under it.

I dont think anyone beyond six would or could appreciate. I think the concept would be cute as a turtle, though and not creep out adults so much.

I'd like it cut down in size ,and not so puffy .for a little girl's sleeping bag. The doll head could be the pillow. Cute quilt.

I have this book, made this doll quilt about 12 years ago, so cute . I put snaps on it for the head ,arms and legs .
That way my sister could wash the quilt . ( big saps )

And, 50% will go to taxes.
