It's great to see a brand new quilter hold her own, young quilters, mothers, daughters......just real people enjoying pushing their creative boundaries! Cheers to us quilters! First two episodes are on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxMeZIuHzj0 |
Holy moly! Watched both episodes...could be addicting! Not something I could do, but some crazy good talent there!!
Totally addicting!!
So much crazy talent!! But I promise, the contestants have been just as wowed by the talent they have found within themselves during the competition! Can't wait for you to see the rest of the season!! |
Loved this show can't wait to see the rest.
Wow, thanks!
I enjoyed watching both episodes. Becky is my daughter. Twila and Shirley are friends. I do not live in Harrisonburg but visit and always go to Patchwork Plus. I highly recommend the shop and it is a great day trip for me.
Ok. I'm hooked. When is the next episode coming out?
Hayquilting you just made my husband's eyes roll when he caught me watching a quilting reality show!!! lol lol lol I love Project Runway and have seen every episode so this was right up my alley.
I watched both episodes very clever. But I have to say I disagree w/ the second elimination, her paper piecing was both difficult and exquisite. |
Thanks for the link to this great challenge. I'm going to enjoy watching each episode. I've subscribed & hope I will be notified when the next one comes up. Does anyone know if these are weekly episodes?
Each week a new episode. The finale is being filmed tomorrow in Harrisonburg, VA at the Virginia Quilt Museum!
The second elimination was grueling, the judges actually spent hours on that one. I agree that the eliminated shark was beautifully done.
They are weekly episodes.
Wow, I enjoyed this so much. It's amazing how involved I felt just watching each competitor.
Fivepaws, your daughter is a delight! Jan |
How much time do they have to do the main challenge?
Patpitter, I think they said a month when they were talking.
They had three weeks to complete the challenge, the fourth week is used for judging.
The third episode will be airing today! It's now been seen in over 30 countries--quilting crosses so many boundaries!
Really enjoyed watching this and look forward to the rest of them. If you want to know when a new one is posted just subscribe and your homepage will show new videos that have been posted. I do not envy the judges, a hard job. I also did not agree with the last elimination. That lady was very talented and her work was very neat, as in well done. Might I say the shows are so "delightful" (sorry could not resist, he just cracks me up)
I agree, he does, and I'd even say "super delightful" lol lol lol
Anxiously waiting for episode 3
They needed to do a little voice over work. If you subscribe on youtube--it's totally free and you'll be the first to know when it is up. Can't wait!!!
It's up!!! The third episode---grab a cup of tea and settle in...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o6pQ4vt61o&t=1283s

Old post but the video is still a hoot to watch.
Thank You. It's too hot to go outside so this was a nice way to spend some time. I loved seeing what they came up with. I thought they were all great. Now I have to get busy sewing.
