Quilted Chairs

Found these today...
I hope they didn't cut a vintage quilt up for these.

If it was a vintage quilt they cut, I hope it was because of damage.

On the flip side, it is a cool looking set of chairs. Something to think about for a sewing room, maybe! :)

Many times there are mouse holes in older quilt store in the attic or basements and that is the only way to selvage part of the quilt.

I don't know if those were vintage quilts. Might be just tops, might be damaged tops, but I think they made really cute chair covers!

fMaterial is very bright for vintage. I think they are "oop's" blocks and put to good use.

My eyes might be bad, but can anyone see any actual quilting,, or did she use a flimsey?

Doesn't look quilted to me.

Very cute for sewing room. Hmmmmm, wonder if I could piece something for my rolling chair......

I don't think they are attractive at all. Sort of gaudy. Looks like a bunch of "sample"squares just sewn together and put onto those chairs. Don't look quilted to me either, and actually a bit of poor upholstering.....if they were vintage I would question the longevity of the fabric/seams. Would not seem practical. I personally think someone tried an idea and is looking for a sucker.

They are not quilted. they are cute, just wonder if they would hold up to lots of wear since they are not quilted.
