Quilted Insulated Casserole Carrier
With warm weather & prices going up, up, up, many of us want to make something smaller, useful and quicker than a quilt. How about a new quilted caserole carrier for pot luck or picnic? Are you a coupon cutter and want a real cool coupon holder? Here are two free patterns that will fill those needs.

I've been looking for a casserole cover and this one looks great. I don't understand, however, how you pull the strap through both "D" rings to close it. Can somebody please explain that to me?
|
I haven't made the carrier yet but I think you put the dish in the carrier - pull the full strap over the dish so that those two corners are touching over the dish- then take the opposite corners with the D rings place them side- by side and pull the strap thru them - does that make sense ?
|
That does make sense! I was trying to figure out how to pull the strap through while the cover was still flat. Never occurred to me to close it first! Those senior moments are becoming more frequent! Thank you so much.

I don't know if the link still works, but I did copy the directions before. Thanks so much for posting it. This will be a Christmas gift for my DD.
