A quilting notion that really works

Saw these "grip strips" demoed at a shop hop. Decided to spring for the $10 since nothing I've tried stops my rulers from slipping. THESE REALLY STOP THE SLIPPING.

Good to know. I bought some and never put them on my ruler. Guess I better pull the package out and use it. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. Over the years I've tried almost every possibility, and the grip strips are absolutely the best of them all. Someone on the QB posted a rave about them; otherwise I'm not sure I would have found them.

Thanks for posting - I'll keep my eye out for it.

I agree. BFF, rebeljane put me onto these and I've just ordered some more for myself and some for another friend.

I have these on my rulers and love them. Several of my friends have purchased since using my ruler.

I use them on my rulers and they are great!

Thanks for info - ordered 2 sets of them.

I use the Quilters Rule rulers and never have a problem with then slipping I really like them

I use a flexible Clear tape, aka 3M Surgical Tape. Comes on a roll like regular 'scotch' tape and I got it at RiteAid drug store. It has a nice soft weave on it that holds the rulers very well. And it is see-thru.

My ruler slips often, just ordered these...looking forward to trying.

I buy the course sand paper sheets that have sticky backs and cut strips for my rules , works great.

Suzette316 05-14-2013 06:07 AM

I have the sandpaper "dots" on my rulers (which themselves are sold as "no slip" rulers), but I still get some movement. So I'm going to give this product a try since it's gotten such great recommendations from many of you! :)

Yes, they absolutely work. I love that my ruler no longer goes askew and I now have straight cuts.

Jingle 05-14-2013 12:43 PM

I just bought some for all my rulers, may have to order more.

Pam H 05-15-2013 09:09 PM

I just ordered 2 set plus one of their rulers. Can't wait to try them!
