Quiz 2--Name the Quilt Design or Layout
 

Hello everyone,
I posted a 'Name That Block' quiz last week, here is #2 and it is called Name the Quilt Design or Layout http://quilting.about.com/od/stepbystepquilting/a/quilt_quizzes.htm This one was hard for me I only got 11 with many guesses and here I thought I knew a lot about designs...lol...guess not. There are 3 more quizzes I will post these within the next 3 days. These fun quizzes are by Janet Wickell.

I've been quilting to long. I got all 20 correct, which is better than I did with the block names

I got 19 our of 20 correct and had a lot of fun doing it. Thanks for sharing this.

Well, goes to show I don't know the names, if I like a pattern by looks I do it! :) I got 17 right a lot I guessed!! Haha

I got all 20 of them correct.
I have been quilting for over 60 years.

Jarenie 60 years of quilting, how awesome is that. If you lived near by I'd invite you to lunch.....then pick your brain for all the quilting experience you have. I used to have a neighbor that had quilted most of her life, she had a story for all the quilts she had made and her memory was sharp.

It is totally evident that I am not near as smart OR talented as most of you. But, I did do better on this one. 18 out of 20. Guess for only quilting a couple of years, that's not to bad.
Thanks for sharing these Irene C. They have been fun and shows I have much to learn yet.

Hello Vonda, glad you enjoyed. I bet you are a talented lovely quilter. I have not been able to get a lot of these right even though I've been sewing and quilting since my twenties. I don't want anyone to feel bad about not getting these right, I meant these to be more of informative information in a fun way. My grandma quilted and sewed for over 50 years, her work was meticulous and I am positive she wouldn't have gotten many of these right. I just like to learn a little something everyday and o my gosh I did with these quizzes, I don't think they measure my actual sewing or quilting skills. For me when I quilt, I do the best work I can and God takes care of the rest...yep in even those points that don't always point.
