Does anyone know of a pattern online for storing the tv remote? When I lay the remote on the side table my dog gets up in my chair and knocks it off onto the floor. ;o) Thus I have to constantly hunt my remote. I might have laid it by the tv, on another table in the room, or is it once again on the floor under the side table? You get the idea! ;o) I would like to find a pattern or patterns for storing remotes so I can come up with a combination that will work for me. My favorite chair has wide wooden arms so if I put something there I will have to fasten it with velcro, but that would be ok, too. Anybody have any links, ideas or suggestions? Nope, getting rid of Peppi is not an option! LOL

Would this help? This is how I made mine only I put heavy metal washers on the inside part to hold it on the arm. Not sure how you would adapt for wood arms.

You know, I think you might be able to adapt a walker tote bag to your needs. I believe they are usually tied on or held in place with velcro straps. I don't have one, but google them and I know there are some free patterns out there. Also, some of the board members have posted ones they have made, so someone out there should be able to help.

Edited to add: Here is a site that has a few walker/wheelchair patterns. Either click on the heading "Charity Sewing" or scroll down a little to that section, and then under "walker & wheelchair".

I made a walker caddy tutorial that my SIL is now using for my BIL as a remote caddy. You can find the tutorial for my caddy on this board.

I just saw one on the Fave Crafts site. Just google Fave Crafts and you should be able to get to site. You can sign up for a newsletter from them too. They offer some very cute ideas and for free!!

OK here goes hope you understand
I took a grocery bag and folded it in half
Then I cut out the shape I wanted
then I cut 2 pieces of heavy upholstery cloth from the pattern I made
cut two bottom for the pocket
Then I trimmed the pocket on top only
Put all the pieces together and trimed the entire thing
Did not use any anchors and it holds up well.
Good Luck

I really like the one you made. I like the alterations you made from the original pattern.
