I have the original and it is quality made. I ordered the new one to compare the two.

Thanks for letting me know! I just thought it was about the best thing ever as I tend to stray off the ruler or have come real close to cutting myself!

Lucky you, I saw the ruler at the Paducah show when it wasn't on sale, but even with my show coupon I thought it was pricey. About a month ago I snatched it up from the on-line store when it was on sale for $49.95 and I thought I got a good deal!
