Here's a photo of a Phoneix quilt I'm doing for my son's birthday. Its a wall hanging, so I don't think I'll quilt it & reduce the weight of the piece. In the event the photo doesn't show, you can also see it on my blog at http://stichesandstrokes.blogspot.com/.

Wow
I bought the material and pattern and can't wait to start it. Hopefully, it will turn out as nice as yours |
Like your zentangles too. We have a group here devoted to zentangles and other surface design. I'm not a participant, just an admirer.

Can you email me the address for the zentangle group? I started one on Yahoo, "the daily tangle" & its doing well. In the Feb/Mar issue of The Quilter magazine, on page 92, is an article about zentangle on quilts, bu Pat Ferguson. I wanted to learned how to combine the 2 & this article explained how to do it. Look out. A zentangle quilt is on the way.

Just remember to cut out the pieces when you have nothing else going on, its tedious. I used a 10 degree ruler & a piece of blue painters tape to mark the individual angles. You might try that. Its easier than copying the insert.
