I wish they would make a video on this Tute...I think I can figure it out....I love the look of it and its two table cloths in one. you can use both sides.

I was thinking of using ready-made oval placemats for a real quickie project for my student.

I am thinking that if you make this and make a slit on the backside or the front since its reversable that you can iron and stich one applique on top of the slit opening. That way no stitch would show. Oh my wheels are turning too...

I believe the slits will be covered by the round piece in the center since the pattern says to make the slit only 1 inch from the edge.
