Ruby short mckim
Hi guys, love this site, I've not really posted much since I joined, but read and look at most threads on a daily basis....just wanted you see what I've found while looking for free 1920/1930's patterns, it's a web site run by Ruby Short McKim's granddaughter, of all her patterns, she was a well known quilt artist in her time, do go and have a look. www.101patchworkpatterns.com

I have a CD of one of the flower quilt patterns (for embroidery). I purchased it several years ago when I purchased a quilt off craigslist for $20 that used her pattern. I have yet to do it, on my ever-growing list of want-to-do's.

I spoke to Ruby by phone several years ago and she looked up an old pattern for me, and even included a couple of free ones. she was a delightful lady, and an avid quilter. It was a great loss to the quilting world when she passed, So glad her GD is carrying on, Cmaras
