Rulers for DSM
Amy over at www.freemotionquiltingadventures.blogspot.com/ has received her Fine Line rulers. She shows a sample of her curved crosshatching on her Janome machine? If you are thinking about rulers for your domestic machine, you might want to take a look. Hope the link works.

wow, so much to soak up... looks intriguing

perfect timing with this post. I've been wondering if I could use rulers with my 6600!
|
good timing indeed! I have 6 tops done, and am scared to death to FMQ them! I did a baby quilt last year and had problems with birds nests on the bottom. yep, it's been a year. I will do my stitch in the ditch. sigh

Just ordered the straight one after watching the video. I certainly need something to help me do straight lines.

Cherrio, be sure to bring your bottom thread to the top of the quilt and hold onto both threads as you take a few stitches in place to secure. Stitch a few inches from these threads and then clip off. This will help you avoid the thread nests.

I already had the curved hatching one and have now ordered the other because I do love the one I already have. I love free motion quilting and believe these will help with straighter lines. Thank you
