Thanks so much. What a great video. Wish I could have read all the explanations but it went faster than my eyes and brain.

Wonderful! I enjoyed the atmospheric views of the countryside, and the music as well as the quilts. I visited Russia last year and the only quilts I saw were in a restaurant in Yasnya Polyana, outside the gates of Tolstoy's home. There were dolls made of wrapped fabric and wheat(?) stalks and I brought home a small quilt with a small cloth doll in the middle. The only fabrics I saw were dress fabrics and the quilts were made of rather loose weave bright cotton. There was a store with machines and notions off Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg but that is an expensive street. We were told that crafted items, including quilts, were made in the villages.

Thanks for sharing this. I loved the music and pictures also. I wish I could have read all of it but my brain doesnt work that fast. The quilts were wonderful.
