Thanks for sharing--love an easy bag, 1 DD & 2 sisters and they all love it when I find something new, especially if it's for them, so they'd thank you too!

Thank you so much for sharing. This will make a great gift for many of the ladies in my family who don't sew.

I have many way many of these bags and have 2 I use all the time, rest were for gifts!

CarrieAnne 01-18-2011 02:25 PM

thanks!

Matilda 01-18-2011 02:45 PM

You are all very welcome. This is a very fun bag to make! And makes great gifts too. The neat thing is you can make your squares different sizes: smaller for a smaller bag if you want--just make the squares all the same size.

I belong to a small quilting group called the Baggies because we all made that bag about 10 years ago.
I seem to remember one of us had taken a class with Carol Coski at Quilt-a-Way in VT. and taught the rest of us.

Thank you so much Matilda, I think I an even make this one :)

sewTinker 01-19-2011 09:50 PM

this was a fun bag to make. I made a couple (10 years ago?) Gave them away, of course! Lost the pattern. I think. So am happy to have it again, as one of my recipients has requested a new one. (never thought to google it. silly me.) so thanks for posting it!! :-)
