Seam Fix
 

Just replaced my seam ripper, I do believe I've had the one I stepped on for more than a decade. I replaced it with Seam Fix, which has an eraser type end that is a plastic material that grabs and removes the excess threads. It really works!

I have these also and love them did not know there was more than one size. Hummmmm must check that out.

At last glance in my seam ripper caddy I counted 15 seam rippers, not counting the ones too short to stick up, ones in my sewing totes, ones by my sewing machine and several on the ironing board. One for a decade? Not going to happen for me. LOL I usually end up with at least one new ripper and one new rotary cutter every Christmas from guild parties. I belong to three guilds. I like the Seam Fix but the Fons and Porter's big red and cream seam ripper will do the same thing and it's all one piece.

I have one of those. Wish it would have stayed sharp a little longer. Probably got too much use. But the eraser cap still comes in handy.

Yes! I love mine, too! It comes in particularly helpful when you have to unpick your longarm quilting.
