Seam Fix
Just replaced my seam ripper, I do believe I've had the one I stepped on for more than a decade. I replaced it with Seam Fix, which has an eraser type end that is a plastic material that grabs and removes the excess threads. It really works!

I have one of those. Wish it would have stayed sharp a little longer. Probably got too much use. But the eraser cap still comes in handy.

Yes! I love mine, too! It comes in particularly helpful when you have to unpick your longarm quilting.
Love mine although I aim not to use a ripper too often.
Love mine and also love the one with batteries.
Love mine too - We are best of friends.
