A nice pictorial history. There is one error for the Sew Master Deluxe. They give it a mfg date of the 1900s. It is actually a clone of the Singer model 15 and likely made in the 50s 0r 60s. I know, because I have a twin to the one that is pictured.

I'm curious about the description below the Gees Bend quilt picture and how the time saving led to the opportunity to make more Crazy quilts, which I understand to be decorative rather than functional. Sorry I won't be flying through SFO any time soon, it does look like a great exhibit. Cheers, K |
