A nice pictorial history. There is one error for the Sew Master Deluxe. They give it a mfg date of the 1900s. It is actually a clone of the Singer model 15 and likely made in the 50s 0r 60s. I know, because I have a twin to the one that is pictured.

Though at that time, there may not have been many to choose from. Quite a nice wedding present.

I'm curious about the description below the Gees Bend quilt picture and how the time saving led to the opportunity to make more Crazy quilts, which I understand to be decorative rather than functional.

Sorry I won't be flying through SFO any time soon, it does look like a great exhibit.
