Sewing table mat to the right!
 

Saw this today and thought it was ingenious! Has the cut out for your lap and tool pockets to the right. Bet you could flip the pattern if you need the pockets to the left. Think I'd use prequilted fabric for the "base" but that's just my idea to speed it along.

I think that is the best one I have seen. I would like to have a trash pocket. Guess if I make this, I will have to figure out how to add the thread/trash pocket.

I like this design. Better then one pocket across the front.

I like this one especially like the pockets off to the side and it is not in front of you as you are sewing. Thank you for sharing

I agree. Could never understand the functionality of the other mat with everything in your lap.
