An Army officer headed back to Iraq is enlisting his mother's central Ohio quilting club - and anyone with spare needles and thread - to help him sew up some good will for America.

Lt. Col. Derik von Recum, who will start a second tour of duty in August, is on a mission to supply Iraqi women with bundles of fabric and sewing supplies.
