Shipping charges

Beautiful machine - only costs $15,850.00 to ship. Maybe I'll buy a plane ticket, take a vacation and pick this up. Ha!

Must be a typo or a scam!!
LOOKs like it was corrected to $16.00 for shipping $25.36 to US

alikat110 03-29-2012 06:50 PM

Hehehehe!!!!

sylviak 03-29-2012 06:50 PM

LOL! I think I could skip that one! Probably is a scam and Ebay will eventually remove it.

sharon b 03-29-2012 06:50 PM

For that I could fly there spend a couple weeks and bring it home with me - maybe they think the price will be low , so they will make the money off of shipping it ?

BETTY62 03-29-2012 06:53 PM

Wonder what the charge would be for overnight delivery.......

I bet you were in shock when you saw it, weren't you? hehehe! Glad they got it corrected. Might have cost them a sale.

annies-best 03-29-2012 07:58 PM

talk about sticker shock i just looked at it did not see any correction

Monroe 03-29-2012 08:05 PM

And only 15 - 20 business days for shipping. What a bargain!

Peckish 03-29-2012 08:53 PM

It pays to read the fine print! Makes me wonder how many people have gotten suckered that way - they think they found a great deal and buy it quickly, only to realize too late that the shipping is gonna bite them.

SoSewSue 03-29-2012 10:57 PM

I think they just dont want to bother packing it for international shipping. For delivery within the UK the cost is £16 or free if you collect it , which seems reasonable.

sewbeadit 03-29-2012 11:14 PM

You have to ship it in small packets too.lol

That seller has a bad feedback record (98% is not good), so maybe it wasn't an error, but a trap for an unobservant buyer.

chance 03-31-2012 02:57 AM

I emailed Seller and asked if this was a mistake. Surprise - no reply!!

Drue 03-31-2012 03:30 AM

Amazing! I didn't see any correction either. Did you notice that there are "0" bids as well...imagine that!

Dretha 03-31-2012 07:26 AM

I did not see any correction either.

Got a reply from Seller!

"Hi,

You're right, it was a mistake but it was deliberate. Ebay wouldn't allow me to advertise globally without a shipping cost listed. It wouldn't be possible to put a price that would apply to every country in the world as it varies greatly, so as it says in the listing "please email me for a quote on shipping". The cheapest option is £100 and would take up to 30 days. Next is £120 tracked and taking 5-9 days.

Thanks
